My work at JSL started in 1972. I worked directly with Mr. Julio Simões, who in 1975 called me for a challenge: go to Salvador and manage an operation to set up a branch; I would stay 40 to 60 days in Bahia. The challenge was so good that I have been in Bahia for over 40 years, working for the company, growing together with the branch and working in the transportation and operations of the main industries in the state.
